Job Description

As Sales Operations support specialist, you are an important support link within the EMEA Sales Operations team. Your primary focus is on data processing and data preparation in support of our ongoing SAP implementation project (ByDesign / S/4HANA). You work under the guidance of senior team members and are responsible for accurate, reliable data handling and day-to-day operational support.

Working closely with colleagues from Sales, Finance, Service and Logistics, you contribute to maintaining stable operations through high-quality data management and support overall operational efficiency improvements.

You will be responsible for:

SAP implementation & data management support (primary focus)

  • Support the creation, update and validation of master data and transactional data for the SAP (ByDesign / S/4HANA) implementation
  • Assist with data cleansing, reconciliation, consistency checks and data migration activities
  • Extract data, prepare overview lists and support progress tracking as directed by senior team members
  • Prepare test data and consolidate test results during system and user acceptance testing

Sales operation support

  • Assist with data processing and verification related to sales forecasting, order entry, delivery and invoicing
  • Support maintenance of price lists and discount information
  • Support the preparation of standard reports (e.g. in Excel) and internal reporting materials

Cross-functional operational support

  • Support routine information exchange between Sales, Finance, Service and Logistics
  • Act as a first point of contact for incoming queries and escalate to senior team members where appropriate

Standardization & continuous improvement (supporting role)

  • Support the creation and maintenance of work instructions, manuals and process documentation
  • Help prepare documentation and materials to embed new processes connected to the SAP implementation
  • Actively participate in process improvement and standardization initiatives led by senior team members

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a hands-on, detail-oriented working style and a strong learning mindset. You are reliable, well organized and enjoy working in a team. You thrive in a structured environment where accuracy matters, and you are eager to develop your knowledge of ERP systems and business processes. You have qualifications and characteristics such as:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (any discipline; Business, IT or data-related fields are a plus)
  • No prior work experience required – new graduates and early-career candidates are welcome
  • Basic Excel skills (data entry, tables, fundamental formulas) and eagerness to further develop these
  • Interest in ERP and business systems (e.g. SAP) and eagerness to develop hands-on knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
  • Ability to understand instructions clearly and execute tasks with care and precision
  • Proactive in reporting progress and asking questions when uncertain
  • Team-oriented and collaborative; able to work effectively with diverse colleagues
  • Good working knowledge of English (reading and writing); Dutch is a plus
