What You’ll Do

As a Sales Administrator you are the operational backbone of the sales function. You ensure that quotes, orders, and customer interactions are handled with professionalism and precision, while also contributing commercially through service contract telesales. Your responsibilities will include:

Order & Quote Management

  • Handle inbound sales enquiries from multiple channels promptly and professionally.
  • Raise accurate quotations and manage multi-step approval processes through to order confirmation.
  • Process all sales orders within SAP, applying correct account codes, pricing (EUR and local currency), and source-of-supply instructions.
  • Verify account status and payment documentation prior to processing.
  • Proactively source and allocate stock to meet delivery commitments, liaising with supply chain.
  • Book deliveries and installations with customers and engineers; release invoices upon completion.
  • Update and maintain sales documentation and records.

Service Contract Telesales

  • Conduct proactive outbound telesales to promote, renew, and sell service contracts to existing and prospective customers.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the customer base.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline records and report against agreed commercial targets.
  • Support the company’s transition to HaaS (Hardware as a Service) and SaaS service models as they are introduced.

Customer & Internal Coordination

  • Act as the day-to-day operational point of contact for key accounts.
  • Manage customer queries relating to orders, installations, financing, and procurement documentation.
  • Liaise with sales management, finance, supply chain, technical, and IT teams to ensure seamless fulfilment.
  • Oversee training bookings, clinical affairs coordination, and sales and carve-out reporting.
  • Provide logistical and on-site support at trade exhibitions and customer-facing events.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a sales administration or order management role.
  • Experience of service contract sales or outbound Telesales is highly desirable.
  • Background in medical devices, technology, or capital equipment is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
  • Working knowledge of SAP or an equivalent ERP system is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • A second European language is an advantage.
