Job overview

At Topcon you operate in a dynamic and international playing field. In this challenging position you are responsible for inspections, repairs and calibrations of high-quality medical instruments at our local site in Capelle aan de IJssel. You ensure correct registration and that quality is guaranteed. Since we strive for the best quality, you carry out the work safely and according procedures. You also dare to indicate if processes can be improved.

Our instruments are not only a challenge in electronics but a combination of electronics, optics and fine mechanical part. We are an international company and therefor the English language is very important to be able to understand the repair manuals and to communicate to our customers and to support the engineers in the field.

You work closely together in a team of specialists who are continuously working on improving our repair processes and are happy to share their knowledge and experience with each other. We never stop innovating, so you continuously contribute to optimal customer satisfaction.

About you!

An enthusiastic (young) professional in electronics  with a great sense for fine mechanical. great analytic and critical skills. You are hands-on and able to work both independently and in a team. If you have a proven track record in a similar role that would be great. We are also open for a strong learner who is open to develop him-/herself in this specific position and has qualifications as:

• a completed secondary vocational education (MBO) in Electronics
• experience with repair of medical and ophthalmic instruments is an advantage, but we will offer you training on the job so you can develop yourself professionally
• eager to learn and the motivation to keep developing yourself
• a proactive and customer-oriented attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and preferably Dutch
