Job overview

As HR Specialist you are part of the Topcon EMEA HR team in the Netherlands with broad and challenging tasks. You are an important part and link between the company and the HR organization. You are responsible for HR Projects, general administration and support the  EMEA Payroll specialist.  From people entering to people leaving the company, you are part of the process. You make sure that we are compliant with Dutch law and is working on technical HR topics. 

You are capable to:

• Assist in payroll process for employees in EMEA and individuals that are based in countries without legal entity.
• Responsible for executing HR administration (writing letters, drafting contracts, providing different lists and overviews, etc.). Prepare employment contracts, change agreements and other work-related certificates
• Following the procedures on people entering and leaving the company, promotion and jubilees.
• Responsible for guiding the organization (managers and employees) when employees are sick and following long sick leave procedure.
• Work on technical HR projects (pension, insurances, etc.) and actively support HR processes and the HR roadmap
• Support and advise employees and managers in our dedicated locations on all personnel-related matters
• Evaluate training needs and following training documentation and folders
• Maintenance of master data in our HR tools as well as completion of administrative HR tasks, including statistics.

About you!

An experienced HR professional who takes ownerhship and is result driven. You are organizational sensitive, pragmatic and have a hands-on mentality. With your dynamic and proactive attitude , you will succeed to find the best solutions. In this role you will contribute directly to an employee satisfaction. You have a proven track record in a similar role and qualifications as:

• A BsC in HRM or similar preferred
• A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in HR and payroll and ready for a next step in your career.
• Experience working in an international environment.
• Experience in working with different level of people (from warehouse to managers).
• Experience in working with Workday is preffered
• Strong and fluent communication skills in English and Dutch.
• Flexibility and open minded approach
