The Senior Advisor will provide subject matter expert advice on mission support issues of policy, impact of administrative rules, compliance, and enforcement mechanisms to Deputy Directors. As directed, the SA will carry out out activities in support of agency/program's mission, program goals, and strategic objectives.

• Provide expert consultation in the form of research, briefings, and written documents on regulatory impact analysis (RIA) to the Director and Deputy Directors.
• Provide recommendations regarding the application of agency mission activities, program goals, and strategic objectives affecting the agency, Director and Deputy Directors.
• Provide recommendations regarding improving the quality and efficiencies of  key projects, activities, and mission. and activities.
• Coordinate with leaders to evaluate program efficiencies, identify areas of overlap, and provides recommendations for improvements and/or consolidation of work streams.
• Conduct outreach activities, such as outreach to stakeholders, media relations and special initiatives to maximize the impact of mission activities, program goals and strategic objectives.

Must be a US Citizen

Minimum educational experience is a law degree (J.D.) from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) or a Master’s degree from an accredited university, plus four years of specialized experience in a health or human services related field which equips the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position. Experience must be equivalent to four years specialized experience equivalent to the GS-15 level in the Federal Government.
