Immediate opening for a Financial Analyst to provide technical and programmatic support to a customer in Washington, DC.  Ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, a demonstrated problem-solver and multi-tasker, and effectively communicate with technical staff and senior management.

• Leverage financial and program data systems to establish and meet deadlines.
• Support congressional budget request development, validation, and monitoring.
• Monitor, update, and summarize project progress and status.
• Support active project management by identifying and investigating financial project issues, and recommending and executing appropriate corrective actions as directed by the client.
• Provide technical support of internal briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.

• Active Secret clearance is required
• Bachelor's degree in related field of study (e.g., Business, Accounting, Economics, etc.).
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with monitoring government-funded research and development projects.
• Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Active listening skills.
• Flexibility in adapting to shifting priorities, urgent requests, and various personalities.
• Organized, reliable, detail oriented, proactive, and confident.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
