Job Description

General Manager required for a busy, family owned, fresh food Restaurant located just outside of Sutton Coldfield. This role, working in an extremely busy restaurant is a great opportunity to work with an already-close team and push an already successful business even further. Live in accommodation is available. 

The owners of this business will give the successful General manager full backing and autonomy to run the business as they see fit; you will be able to work with the head chef to develop the menu, change the 'wet' products and put on events and special evenings. 

The successful Restaurant and Bar General Manager will have - 
  • Excellent people skills with both guests and your team. You will effectively communicate, delegate and motivate
  • A natural passion for food and beverages, you will be aware of trends within the market 
  • A strong commercial focus, you will be an 'ideas' person and someone who thinks outside the box to drive revenue and save on the bottom line - here you will have autonomy
  • Experience with forecasting, GP's, P&Ls and business plans
  • A CV which shows longevity and loyalty within your career
  • Awareness and a great working knowledge of all legislation that is relevant to your work: Licensing, Health and Safety at Work, COSHH, Environmental Health, Fire Precautions etc
