TONIC DNA is a full-service animation production house with high-quality creative content. You'll provide technological support to all the company's users. You'll work with a wide range of the best technologies available - and have the opportunity to test, configure and deploy them in an environment that continually challenges you and asks you to learn new things. The pace is fast, and we're obsessed with leaving no stone unturned when it comes to solving a problem. We believe in healthy debate, creative and collaborative problem solving and active knowledge sharing. You'll need strong technical skills and a passion for technology, but initiative, analytical thinking and drive are just as important to succeed in this role.
You'll be the front line of the IT department. You'll have to process support request tickets and get more information from users, in order to make a more informed diagnosis. In addition, you'll prepare hardware and computer configuration for new employees, following checklists and making sure nothing is missing. You provide observations and solutions to common problems.
Here are some of your responsibilities:
- Process requests for technical support assistance from company employees and subcontractors, resolve problems and follow up appropriately;
- Build, configure and upgrade workstations and laptops;
- Install physical and logical computer components;
- Support the network administrator by providing helpdesk support to users;
- Install and configure peripherals;
- Customize environment as required;
- Automate routine functions;
- Diagnose and troubleshoot systems;
- Keep workstations up to date with software and physical components;
- Take charge of certain projects proposed by the IT team;
- Process documentation;
Desired experience: 1 year or more in technical assistance. We are graduates who demonstrate curiosity and motivation.
Support experience on Windows 10 and 11
Previous Microsoft 365 support experience
Demonstrated track record of excellent customer service
Passionate about technology
Self-motivated, autonomous and eager to grow within our organization
Spoken and written languages: French and English - some of our Artists speak English only - especially on our larger projects. It is necessary to be relatively comfortable having a conversation with them about a technical problem.
