Located near the Atwater Market, TONIC DNA is a full-service animation production company with high-quality creative contents. With more than 35 years of experience in the animation field, the studio offers a full range of services related to the production of commercials, animated series, short and feature films, as well as branded content solutions, digital or interactive, for clients all around the world.

We are currently searching for a Show Technical Coordinator who has knowledge of Toon Boon Harmony and prior experience coordinating.  

The aim is to work hand-in hand with Project Manager, acting as his Right hand on a high-quality project.  

While helping Artist with Toon Boom and receiving the files, you are coordinating the outsourced studios.  

Your responsibilities in more detail.  

• Right-hand of the Project Manager 

Prepare statistics to drive discussion with the clients 

Processing feedback from the client to the Artist. 

Attending meetings, taking notes, assisting the Project Manager 

Flagging crew issues and schedule problems to the Project Manager 

• Receiving and Sending files to the Artists/Clients.  

Making sure the Artist files are as they should be and that the Artists have the right file from the clients.  

Delivering and rendering the files to the client.  

• Shotgrid / Shotgun Maintenance  

Keeping production charts on ShotGrid updated 

Folder Hierarchy Management 

• Coaching a small team of Technical Coordinators in partnership with the Technical Lead Coordinator 

• Helping Artists with technical issues regarding Harmony or Photoshop  

Who are you? 

Your technical skills 

• Advanced Knowledge of Toon Boom and Photoshop 

• Knowledge of an asset manager such as SHOTGUN/SHOTGRID is a big plus; 

• Scene Prep and Comp on Toon Boom are a plus. 

Your “soft skills” 

• Excellent organizational and management skills 

• Ability to work efficiently with various personalities and different work styles 

• Ability to work independently and in a team 

• Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks at a time while remaining efficient and mindful of strict deadlines in a fast paced and high-pressure environment
