Job Description

As a Clean-up Supervisor, you'll be overseeing the entire process of Clean-up animation of all characters, crowds and props. You will use your leadership experience to clearly communicate with and mentor artists in your team. You will also be in charge of communicating with the client. You will motivate and coach a talented and diverse team of artists. You will actively participate in the artists evaluation and growth.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Management:

·        Develop, manage and maintain timing and production quotas in accordance with the coordination team;

·        Attend and actively participate in meetings;

·        Assign, supervise and review the work of the Clean-up team;

·        Inform the team about the changes and news related to the projects;

·        Train and supervise the team throughout the production;

·        Pair junior artists with senior artists to improve the quality of training;

·        Give feedback to each artist about their performance;

·        Explain retakes to artists and ensure retakes follow-up in collaboration with the coordination team;

·        Actively participate in the selection of new artists;

·        Support and facilitate the integration of new employees;

·        Perform other related tasks as assigned by production management.

Production:

·        Assign scenes to the Clean-up team;

·        Review and approve shots;

·        Communicate required revisions to the CU artists;

·        Meet production milestones and deadlines, and motivate your team to do the same;

·        Collaborate with supervisors to ensure that the quality of animation is up to studio standards;

·        Assign and review Ink & Paint shots and final compositing;

·        Review and approve the work from Overseas studios.

Qualifications

·        5+ years of experience animating within a 2D production environment including clean-up experience;

·        Previous experience doing Clean-up in Harmony on an animated series/feature;

·        1+ year(s) of experience in team supervision;

·        Exceptional organizational & time management skills required for a fast-paced environment;

·        Drive, determination, and creative problem-solving skills;

·        Effective and professional communication skills;

·        Leadership and coaching abilities.
