Job Description
Be part of a high-energy team that keeps TOMRA’s network running at its best. Our Service Centre is at the heart of our operations, using real-time system monitoring and remote access to quickly identify issues, reduce downtime, and coordinate maintenance and repairs across NSW. The team also supports our customers right across Australia, making a real impact every day.
In this role, you’ll be the go-to point connecting our partners, field technicians and customers, helping to keep everything running smoothly. It’s fast-paced, collaborative and focused on problem-solving, so you’ll thrive if you enjoy working with people, thinking on your feet and being part of a supportive team that has each other’s backs.
Location, pay rate and hours
You’ll be based in our modern Sydney office in St Leonards. Public transport is available. Please note there is limited free car parking in the area.
Our Service Centre operates 7 days a week between 7:00am and 10:00pm, so flexibility across these hours is key. Shifts are available up to 4 weekdays per week (flexibility around occasional weekend work is highly regarded).
Successful candidates are paid under the ‘Clerks Award’ (Level 3)
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide hotline technical support to partners and colleagues in the field
- Assist with customer queries and complaints
- Monitor systems and run diagnostics via a web-based portal
- Interact with technicians, colleagues and partners visiting sites
- Analyse anomalies and take corrective actions
- Perform configurations and changes to the machines remotely online
- Dispatch field service staff in order to coordinate onsite maintenance and repairs
Qualifications
To be a successful Service Centre Operator you will have:
- A passion for customer service
- Previous experience in a service/ call centre
- Previous experience with dispatch or scheduling (preferred)
- Good time management skills
- Strong communications skills
- High attention to detail
- A team mentality
- Competent with technology
