Job Description

The Planning Manager leads the Planning team in Senec and is responsible for ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely production and material supply planning. This role drives end‑to‑end planning excellence—from demand input and capacity alignment to detailed production scheduling and order fulfilment—ensuring TOMRA meets customer lead times while optimizing inventory, resources, and operational performance.

Primary Job Functions

  • Lead the planning function at our Senec site, ensuring accurate production and material supply planning to meet customer demand.
  • Develop efficient production schedules, secure material availability, and optimize capacity.
  • Drive strong delivery performance and maintain healthy inventory levels.
  • Manage and grow a high‑performing planning team.
  • Oversee monthly planning and operational reporting, providing insights on performance, risks, and improvement actions.
  • Collaborate across manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and engineering to support smooth operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience gained through relevant roles.
  • APICS CPIM certification (or an equivalent supply chain planning qualification). If you do not hold a certification, comparable hands‑on expertise in planning is welcome.
  • Experience in production planning, supply chain, or operations. Experience in automation, machinery, or engineering industries is beneficial but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, support, and develop a team, fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written). Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of MRP/Master Scheduling principles and experience working with ERP systems (e.g., D365, SAP, IFS). Familiarity with other systems or willingness to learn is equally valued.
