Job Description
We are seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller to take ownership of financial leadership across our LATAM region.
Reporting to the Finance Director, Americas, and with a dotted-line to the General Manager – LATAM, you will play a key role in shaping financial governance, delivering meaningful insights, and acting as a trusted advisor to regional leadership. This is a high-visibility position where your contribution will directly support performance, drive growth, and strengthen long-term regional success.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Control
- Own accurate and timely month-end, quarterly, and annual reporting in line with IFRS and Group standards
- Lead the LATAM close process and ensure strong balance sheet integrity across multiple entities
- Analyse performance, review variances, and provide clear financial insights
- Strengthen governance, internal controls, and accounting processes across the region
Business Partnering
- Act as the primary finance partner to regional leadership
- Translate financial performance into actionable commercial insights
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and strategic decision-making
- Identify risks and opportunities to drive sustainable regional growth
Operations, Audit & Compliance
- Oversee general ledger integrity and intercompany processes
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Support tax compliance and statutory reporting with external advisors
- Ensure strong financial systems oversight and asset control
Leadership
- Develop and lead a high-performing finance team
- Promote accountability, continuous improvement, and strong governance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Postgraduate qualifications in IFRS, Finance, or Management Control preferred
- CPA or equivalent professional certification highly desirable
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial management or senior accounting roles
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, financial reporting, and analysis
- Proven experience managing teams and working with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple countries
- Advanced proficiency in English with proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
- Highly analytical with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working in international or multi-entity environments is an advantage
- Ability to travel as required and eligibility to obtain a passport and necessary visas, including travel to the USA
