Job Description
About the role
As P&O Manager - APAC, you play a central role in shaping the future of the APAC organization. The role reports directly to the SVP Head of P&O and works in close partnership with the SVP Head of APAC, supporting all people‑related topics across the region.
Based on TOMRA Recycling’s regionalized divisional strategy, you actively support the establishment and stabilization of the APAC setup, with a strong focus on long‑term success and profitability. Acting as a trusted sparring partner to the SVP Head of APAC, you ensure that people processes, organizational structures, and leadership practices effectively enable the ongoing transformation.
You contribute to building a high‑performing, engaged regional organization and a strong leadership team. A key focus of the role is attracting, developing, and retaining talent to secure sustainable capabilities and future growth across APAC, while shaping a people agenda that drives performance, engagement, and leadership excellence.
What you will do
- Act as a trusted P&O Business Partner to regional leaders, advising on all people‑related topics
- Translate people strategies into pragmatic, easy‑to‑use solutions and ensure clear, effective P&O processes
- Partner with Divisional and Group P&O team to deliver the best solutions for business need
- Drive talent management and leadership development in the region, including talent reviews, leadership onboarding, and development planning
- Support onboarding, retention, engagement, and performance management, fostering a strong culture of accountability and performance
- Shape organizational design, role clarity, and grading in collaboration with Divisional and Group teams
- Support compensation & benefits frameworks across APAC, balancing local market needs with global consistency
- Build and develop the P&O operating model in APAC, ensuring clear roles, standards, and scalable local support
- Contribute as a member of the TOMRA Recycling Global P&O Leadership Team
Qualifications

- Strong track record in organizational design, reorganization, and change management within matrix organizations
- Able to translate business strategy into people impact (workforce, capabilities, skills, leadership)
- Strong business and commercial acumen, with an understanding of cost structures and financial implications
- Thinks in scenarios, owns a vision, and drives meaningful change — from continuous improvement to transformation
- Influences effectively without formal authority, building trust and navigating complex, cross‑regional stakeholder landscapes

- Skilled at balancing operational demands with strategic priorities, working closely with local P&O teams and strengthening the P&O operating model
