OUR ROLE
TOMRA’s sensor-based solutions play a key role in optimizing resource productivity, particularly in the fields of waste management and recycling, where sensor-based technology can be used to increase precision and streamline processes.
To achieve the ambitious aim of a circular economy, it is necessary to employ state-of-the-art approaches that push boundaries, and TOMRA’s reverse vending and waste sorting solutions help to achieve this by recovering materials and providing valuable insight into the composition of these materials.
The result is a greater understanding of where efficiencies can be made to minimize costs and waste, and better utilize resources within a closed loop – further mitigating the impact of CO2 and other emissions and inefficiencies.
Job Description
- Establishing and expanding new solutions for the recycling business
- Building a deep understanding of market trends and our customers' needs
- Development of market and product requirements for new products and functions
- Collaborate with development teams to define scope, prioritize, and implement new product lines
- Plan and coordinate new product launches in collaboration with marketing, sales, engineering, and service
- Manage the product portfolio and develop a clear strategy and direction in collaboration with the Product Cluster Leader and other key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, natural sciences, economics or comparable
- Very good knowledge of English, written and spoken
- Hands-on mentality and an entrepreneurial spirit
- You are tech-savvy and love spending time with customers to understand their needs and build lasting relationships with them
- Curiosity to understand customers' needs and translate those needs into product offerings together with our development teams
- You enjoy traveling the world and developing expertise in the dynamics of new countries, regions, and ecosystems
