In this newly created role you will be responsible for all Finance related tasks for our Polish subsidiary. You gradually take over finance related topics currently covered by our regional headquarter finance team and support the Polish team in their journey towards growth. As Finance Manager you will work in close cooperation with the Head of Finance ECE and the local Management Team in Poland to develop and implement processes, procedures and activities that enhance TOMRA Collection’s financial reporting and to achieve our long-term ambitions in Poland.

For these exciting tasks we are looking for a Finance Manager for around 24 months
based in our office in Warsaw.

Job Description

  • Manage the Poland P&L through short and long-term activities with focus on liquidity, top-line growth & profitability. 
  • Evaluate financial performance with regards to long-term financial & operational goals, budget and forecast. Manage all planning related processes.
  • Review and ensure appropriate internal controls and policy compliance.                                                
  • Strong contribution to IFS implementation.
  • Assure the Inhousing of Accounting together with a new local Chief Accountant.
  • Strong involvement preparing month and annual financial statements together with our external accounting team.
  • Report financial results to our corporate headquarter via Tagetik.
  • Implementation and improvement of processes in the controlling environment.
  • In addition, you will provide ongoing strategic input and support for the development of the overall business strategy.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Controlling or related work experience within an international business.
  • Strong business knowledge in working with IFS as a Finance system.
  • Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Able to work independently and follow up tasks end-to-end. You describe yourself as hands-on.
  • Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail and accuracy whilst having the ability to see the bigger picture.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Fluent in English and preferably also in Polish.
  • Advanced excel skills.
