Position Overview

TOMRA is currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team in South of Poland. You will be responsible for customer service (commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, training, and repair) of our recycling sorters located at our customers' facilities in Poland, Baltics, Slovakia, Czech Republic.

This position is ideal for the aspiring adventurer, as there will be lots of travel, mainly domestic across Poland, although international travel is also possible.

You will receive all the necessary training at our training center in Germany, as well as practical application in the field.

Job Description

  • Installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of sensor-based sorters at TOMRA Recycling installation bases;
  • Ensuring maximum performance of TOMRA sorting systems in the field;
  • Delivering exceptional customer experiences through first-class communication and support;
  • Optimizing of the sorting systems / process;
  • Identifying opportunities to add value to our customers businesses through the introduction of complementary TOMRA products, solutions and services;
  • Acting as a link between our customers and Head Quarters – collecting and providing feedback from the market so that we can continuously look for new opportunities for our customers.

Qualifications

  • Completed secondary technical school or higher with a specialization in electrician/electronics, automatics, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in an industrial environment, with a focus on on-site preventive and curative maintenance.
  • Reside in Katowice (+40km around) OR Krakow.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 80% of the time within South of Poland, and occasionally to the Baltics, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and other international locations.
  • Valid car license;
  • Electrical certificate SEP;
  • Proficiency in computer programs and PC configuration;
  • Fluent in Polish and proficient in English;
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, internal and external associates, and management levels.
  • Knowledge of recycling processes is a plus.
