TOMRA Collection’s Sustainability team is looking for a Sustainability Analyst to help deliver on our ambitious strategy for responsible growth and support the further integration of sustainability management into core business processes and operations.
As Sustainability Analyst, you will join a team of passionate people working on sustainability in different functions. Our team is responsible for developing and executing on TOMRA Collection sustainability strategy, reporting status towards our sustainability goals, providing sustainability expertise, supporting action across the organization, and engaging leaders and employees on sustainability.
For the right candidates, this is a unique opportunity to join a purpose driven, international company operating at the core of business transformation towards the circular economy, learn and grow in sustainability management, and directly influence business decisions to help maximize the social and environmental handprint and minimize the footprint.
As a Sustainability Analyst you will work with a wide range of tasks and stakeholders across the world. Your responsibilities will include:
Support projects, markets, and units with subject matter knowledge on sustainability, the GHG protocol, emission factors, and other relevant topics
Develop internal systems and tools to support sustainability management
Prepare presentations, decision support, and reporting within the mandate of the sustainability team
Develop business cases (planet and profit dimension) for sustainability initiatives in collaboration with projects, units and other stakeholders
Perform analyses and research as required
Support non-financial data reporting processes and propose measures to continually improve ESG reporting, data quality and methodology
Plan and execute projects within the sustainability agenda, e.g. related to decarbonization, sustainable product design, reporting and compliance with new legislation
As a Sustainability Analyst you will report to the Head of Sustainability at TOMRA Collection and be a part of the Sustainability team, located at TOMRA HQ in Asker, Norway.
Qualifications
MSc, BSc or similar within business, sustainability, natural science, or other relevant topic
2+ years of relevant professional experience.
Good understanding of sustainability practices, regulations and trends
Practical experience working with the GHG protocol or sustainability management is a plus, but not a requirement
