Job Description

Supports the APAC sales team in coordinating and executing administrative and organisational Sales Activities; supports the sales managers in the full managing of customers and Agent relations (where present) and ensures a good flow of information, order entry, Quote generation and consistency. 

Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Supports prospection and sales activities to assist the APAC sales team in their selling activities
  • Monitors the orders of machines administratively by ensuring that the rest of the organisation can respond to the requests within the shortest time possible

Tasks 

  • Prospection and sales activities 
  • Verification and data entry of new business leads – distribute them to the territory responsible
  • Draws up offers/quotations and ensures the monitoring of possible additional queries
  • Ensures the input of offers in the database and distributes (mail) order entry information to the respective departments requiring order-entry information 
  • Monitors databases and keeps sales related data up to date
  • Co-organises together with the Marketing & Events Specialist company visits of customers in cooperation with the sales-team, demo and possibly marketing and ensures the necessary facilities
  • Co-organises and coordinates exhibitions and meetings in cooperation with the Marketing & Events Specialist
  • Coordinates the handling of the financial related activities with the Finance team

Qualifications

Experience:

  • High level of Accuracy – data minded
  • Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal guidance
  • Very good oral & written communication skills (English). Knowledge of Other languages are a plus
  • Customer (internal and external) focused
  • Able to be extremely flexible, and work with different cultures, understanding intercultural differences
  • Proven ability to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures well 
  • Good MS office knowledge
