Job Description
Position Overview
The Communications & Social Media Specialist* creates promotional materials, social media content, contribute to the development of company websites, organize meetings and presentations, internal communications, and interact with stakeholders to effectively deliver our company’s message to the public and the media. He/She must possess superb written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the Recycling industry, its segments, and products as the basis for high-level content writing would be appreciated.
The Job in specific
- Creating content for both print and digital outlets including social media, company website, press releases, eBooks, thought leadership articles, video storylines, presentations, product brochures, newsletter, etc.
- Responsible for content creation, channel management and analytics of TOMRA Recycling social media topics (LI, X, FB, IG) including creation of graphics and managing external videographers for social media.
- Monitoring the company’s social media, trends, results, and online presence.
- Coordinating, collaborating, brainstorming with coworkers in marketing, communication, brand, and group, supporting different campaigns.
- Organizing and coordinating internal and external events, webinars and campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Public Relations or Journalism would be preferable.
- + 3 years experience working in a similar role.
- Focused on content writing and ability to bring technical content to life.
- Possess a excellent understanding of effective marketing & communication techniques.
- Understanding of main B2B social media platforms.
- Basic graphic design skills are highly appreciated.
- Must have excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English and, preferably, in German. Other languages are a plus.
- You are creative, team oriented, flexible, pro-active and efficient.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work for multiple projects.
- Willingness to learn about technical products and applications.
- Enjoy working in an international and multicultural environment.
