This person will be operating as a Customer Project Manager within TOMRA Sorting Recycling.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and passionate Customer Project Manager to join our Americas team. This position will manage the delivery of waste and metal recycling solutions to our customers, ensuring projects are on time and to spec. The role is responsible for managing projects in North & South America from pre-sale through handover to the service team.

Some key aspects of the position will include:

• Managing of Projects in Metal and Waste Recycling abiding by internal procedures: check input from Sales, review contract details, internal project coordination (PSR), ERP system (IFS) etc.,
• Interface project clearance with internal and external customers, achieve customer acceptance, and monitor project payments
• Build up and maintain reliable relationships with our customers to solve problems
• Technical consulting for customer and Sales for complex plant designs
• Support Service team with scheduling and installations
• Responsible for successful project execution including project costs and timing to the satisfaction of our customers
• Distribute project closed report and post calculation of costs
• Lead continuous improvements within area of responsibility

   

We are looking for someone with the following profile:

• Bachelor’s in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, others)
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Project Management delivering high value engineering solutions
• Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and bring to successful completion
• Experience with IT and network skills is a plus
• Ability to read technical drawings is a must
• Great communication skills both verbally as in writing
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (Up to 65%)
• Bilingual (English & Spanish)
