Job Description
Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures.
Planning and scheduling repairs.
Conducting periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
Maintaining the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
Work within 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) methodology to maintain workplace to a high standard
Perform maintenance of TOMRA JIGs and equipment, including electrical systems
Reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, electrical schematics, blueprints, service manuals, and work instructions to perform required maintenance work
(Dis)assembling/installing new machines, condition monitoring sensors, equipment, etc.
Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix broken parts, replace parts... etc.)
Troubleshooting
Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management
Ensure all lost time, minor and trivial accidents are reported
Contribute to continuous improvement activities
Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed
Qualifications
Secondary technical education
A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
Regulation 508/2009, §22
Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and other systems
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
