Job Description
Our US Food division is based in Sacramento, CA. and we are always looking for passionate individuals to join our organization. For this position we are specifically looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer in the Boise, Idaho region.
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be part of a global service team and will report to the Field Service Supervisor. With "Safety first" mindset throughout the daily work both at company and our customer sites.
You Will:
- Provide excellent customer service skills with external and internal customers, travel as needed.
- Respond to and resolves inquiries from internal team members regarding technical issues on a variety of portfolio issues.
- Ensures that continuous documentation is available for Technical Service Engineers and Trainers to support North America activities.
- Interface with EMEA Product Experts and Engineering to help launch new products and provide superior customer service for new products.
- Ensures that solutions are both technically and commercially correct in order to meet the customer’s needs and TOMRA’s profitability.
- Work on intelligent and pioneering technologies
- Be a TOMRA ambassador
- Be trained and equipped with the necessary knowledge and tool.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, mechatronics, sustainable manufacturing, or industrial engineering is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with external and internal customers.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- You are intrigued with solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- You have a knack for technical problem-solving, troubleshooting, and follow-up skills.
- You love to relate to customers, their views, and issues, locally and in other countries and cultures.
Physical Abilities & Requirements:
- Job requires frequent bending, kneeling, and standing
- Lifting of up to 80 lbs.
- Working in confined spaces.
- Ability to drive for long distances
- Ability to distinguish between the full range of colors in the color spectrum
