Job Description

The role:
We are on the lookout for a self-driven and highly motivated individual to work in our stores warehouse located at our offices at Castle hill in Sydney. The position is required on a full-time basis, 5 days per week (8:30AM to 5PM with 1hr lunch break)
The role will be responsible for ensuring efficient operation of all warehouse and stock control tasks and the adminstrative activities needed to support these.


Some of the key duties will include:

  • Coordinate and despatch for spare parts orders in a timely manor
  • Processing and warehousing of inbound shipments
  • Loading and unloading freight using forklift
  • Processing of orders using reports to create pick lists for all available orders.
  • Manage bookings for shipments through various carriers, send the tracking details to the customers
  • Regularly update the Daily Shipment register showing status of all inbound and outbound orders
  • Be responsible for the stock integrity, and be proactive to address any issues in the stock room, eg repackaging and relabeling or relocation.
  • Manage Cycle counts on a regular basis, initiate investigation and report any issues.
  • Produce reports measuring key Service performance metrics such as despatch times, lead times for supply of parts, stock discrepancies.
  • Manage stock levels of warehouse, packaging, and stationery.
  • General upkeep of the stock room and warehouse area, ensuring it is kept clean and tidy.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Warehousing role
  • Proven inventory control experience
  • An advanced diploma in a relevant field is strongly preferred however equivalent experience will be considered
  • Hardworking person who is hands-on  
  • Advanced organisational skills with an eye for detail
  • Recognise and ensures that high quality service is delivered to the customers at all times
  • Teamplayer
  • Initiative by thinking outside the box 
  • High level of spoken and written English
  • Forklift licence essential
  • Australian Citizen or Resident with unrestricted work rights
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Experience in identifying technical components is advantageous
