The Web Technical Lead in our Group IT function is responsible for the technical framework of TOMRA’s web content management system which is built on Sitecore. This includes configuring and customizing the system to meet the specific needs of TOMRA, as well as providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for any issues that arise. The role will also work closely with other teams, such as the development team (external vendor) and the enablement team (internal) to ensure that the system is integrated with other systems and technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Configuring and customizing Sitecore to meet TOMRA’s needs for tomra.com
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for any technical issues
- Integrating Sitecore with other applications (e.g., HRIS and recruitment systems)
- Working closely with other teams to ensure positive user experience while meeting security and compliance requirements
- Keeping up-to-date with Sitecore updates and recommending appropriate action
- Maintaining documentation and providing training
- Working closely with the company Brand, Marketing and Communications teams
Qualifications
We are looking for the following characteristics:
- Strong background in business analysis and experience working in an IT environment
- Knowledge and experience with tools, methodologies and techniques for gathering, analyzing and documenting requirements
- Using and configuring Sitecore WCMS preferable but not required
- Development of web solutions
- Knowledge of usability, accessibility and UX for web solutions.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills, working with multiple teams across the organization
- Ability to interpret and resolve complex issues
- Initiative and a self-drive; see what needs to be done, and do it
- Ability to organize your own work independently, yet within given mandate
- Excellent technical and analytical skills
- The capability of having a holistic view of organization-wide technology architecture
- Project management experience
Additional Information
The role is based at the Asker office (just south of Oslo), though being part of a Global IT team. This may require some planned travelling, and outside normal work-hour meetings. TOMRA Group IT is practicing flexible working and encourages all our employees to ensure they have a good work-life balance.

- At least a C1 in English and a B2 in Norwegian.

Final candidates will be expected to complete a test, do reference checks, and attend interviews on site. Hence living in commuting distance to the office is needed.

The job is on-site for the first period of your employment and at least until your onboarding is completed and you are up-and-running. After we have verified you are sufficiently independent, you may agree with your manager to work hybrid.
