Communications Coordinator
TOMRA of North America’s is looking for a Full Time Communications Coordinator to support our internal and external communications strategy to strengthen the TOMRA brand and culture within the company (e.g., internal communications, culture workshops) and as experienced by external parties (e.g., public awareness campaigns, social media presence).
$23.00/Hr
Primary goals include meeting the objectives and priorities of senior management and supporting the People & Organization and Marketing & Sales teams for ongoing projects and initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Communications Manager and People & Organization (P&O) team to provide communications materials, event support, and progress reporting
- Track status of requests, issues, and any relevant communications that are requested internally; monitor social media and online presence; provide timely updates of projects to Communications Manager and SVP of P&O
- Support immediate needs of P&O in the form of internal communications and administrative support (e.g., ordering of supplies, printing)
- Assist with execution of web, online, and social media initiatives including content calendars and content creation
- Support various communication initiatives such as the employee newsletter, intranet articles, and press release writing through data sourcing and drafting
- Manage requests for tradeshow supplies, local advertisements, sponsorships, and outings (as requested by Sales & Marketing team)
- Help plan internal initiatives, events, and meetings by identifying and coordinating requirements; communicating with collaborators; and tracking progress of events/projects

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in MS Office software, especially MS Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to adapt to new ideas and be flexible with change
- Proficient in social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter)
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and problem-solve to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and possess a self-motivated work style in the accomplishment of a wide variety of duties

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Education: Two (2) – four (4) years of college studying communications, marketing, or a related field
- Experience: Some communications and social media management experience
