Job Description

Our US Food division is based in Sacramento, CA. and we are always looking for passionate individuals to join our organization. For this position we are specifically looking for an experienced AP Specialist in the West Sacramento, CA region.

As an AP Specialist you'll be part of a global Finance & Accounting team and will report to the Finance Manager.

You Will:

  • Review, audit, and process all credit card statements, expense reports, supplier payments, and invoices.
  • Compile and maintain compliance with AP documents, records, and supplier files.
  • Research, analyze, and reconcile supplier statements and invoices.
  • Work with a sense of urgency to ensure all required signatures and supporting documentation are obtained and match supplier checks.
  • Process 3 way match of purchase orders, receiving documentation, and supplier invoices.
  • Assist in monthly closing routines and annual audits.
  • Promptly respond to supplier inquiries and proactively resolve discrepancies as they arise.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, or other relative experience in a Finance/Accounting function.
  • Associate’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or other relative discipline.
  • You are highly analytical, observant, proactive, and detail oriented.
  • You enjoy problem-solving and work with a sense of urgency to resolve issues and provide solutions.
  • You are self-sufficient and self-motivated in your work, and work well under pressure to meet recurring deadlines.

Physical Abilities & Requirements:

  • Must be able to work full-time, on-site at our West Sacramento, CA office.
  • Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to kneel, bend, stand as necessary.
  • Must be able to lift up to 5 – 10 lbs.
