Job Description

The purpose of our finance and administration department is to add value to TOMRA by delivering high quality, accurate financial results and information to internal stakeholders and proactively partner with each other and other teams in pursuit of business goals. 

The purpose of this position is to provide the TOMRA Food Spain entity (Tomra Food (Valencia) SL with financial and commercial support - 

  • by effectively managing all the financial, regulatory and risk requirements of this entity with the support of the wider finance and administration team. 

  • by business partnering with the Tomra Fresh Food operations in Europe to develop and grow Tomra Fresh Food business 

This position will ensure adherence to and compliance with statutory and tax requirements, the IFRS framework and with internal policies and procedure

Qualifications

  • Work as a business partner in the Spanish legal entity to ensure that key business processes such as order to cash and procure to pay work effectively and efficiently, liaising with Tomra Fresh Food Finance HQ in NZ accordingly. 
  • Credit risk and credit control. With the support of the Finance Revenue and Credit collection teams in NZ .
  • Responsible for ensuring all regulatory requirements (including tax filing and company secretarial duties) for Tomra Food Spain are met and support the directors of this entity to fulfil their governance obligations by keeping abreast of relative matters on a regular basis.
  • Experience with Tier 1 or 2 ERP systems  
  • Proven 8-10 years’ experience in a relevant accounting, finance, or commercial role.
  • Verbal and written communication proficiency in both Spanish and English
