Position Overview

TOMRA is currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Turkey. You will be responsible for customer service (commissioning, operation, testing, integration, maintenance, training, and repair) of our recycling sorters located at our customers' facilities.

Job Description

  • Field service work (commissioning, testing, integration, maintenance and repair) mainly in Turkey, but also in other geographical regions;
  • Give support (incl. remote support) to clients in terms of technical issues and sorter performance;  
  • Provides detailed field reports that are useful for the whole organization after every installation or technical intervention; 
  • Training of customer maintenance and service personnel on site as well as TSS Service Engineers;
  • Ensuring the maximum performance of the TOMRA Sorting systems in the field to satisfy the customers.

Qualifications

  • University or College studies in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering preferred, minimum Technician or engineering 3rd Level qualification required 

OR/ AND

  • A few years “hands-on” experience in a B2B, Industrial Equipment support role;
  • Willingness to travel at least 80% of the time (mainly in Turkey);
  • You have a valid car license;
  • You have a solid technical foundation, particularly in electricity (reading electrical diagrams and plans, API/PLC electrical automation);
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information and issues in a user-friendly manner;
  • Fluent in Turkish is required;
  • Good in spoken and written in English;
  • Excellent technical problem-solving, troubleshooting, and follow-up skills.

Will be made available to you: a company car, a laptop, a telephone, as well as the necessary tools and PPE (personal protective equipment), travel expenses covered.

You will receive all the necessary training at our training center in Germany, as well as practical application in the field.
