OUR ROLE

TOMRA’s sensor-based solutions play a key role in optimizing resource productivity, particularly in the fields of waste management and recycling, where sensor-based technology can be used to increase precision and streamline processes.

To achieve the ambitious aim of a circular economy, it is necessary to employ state-of-the-art approaches that push boundaries, and TOMRA’s reverse vending and waste sorting solutions help to achieve this by recovering materials and providing valuable insight into the composition of these materials.

The result is a greater understanding of where efficiencies can be made to minimize costs and waste, and better utilize resources within a closed loop – further mitigating the impact of CO2 and other emissions and inefficiencies.

Job Description

Your role and responsibilities include:

  • To organize and being responsible for service sales activities in the dedicated worldwide countries to ensure the department’s efficient and profitable operation plus satisfying customers and enhancing customer relations.
  • Customer complaint management related to sales and service.
  • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
  • Maintenance of customer data, price lists, etc. in our ERP / CRM system.
  • Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
  • Customer complaint management related to sales and service.
  • Other overall responsibilities within the organization (e.g. supportive responsibilities)
  • Independent management of technical advice and sales discussions with customers.
  • Sale of TOMRA Care products and the digital solution TOMRA Insight in selected countries.
  • Support other TOMRA subsidiaries with service sales related tasks.
  • Contact for our customers with regard to technical and product-specific matters in service.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has the following profile:

  • Skills in applying and using knowledge in a sales position.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide
  • Experience and knowledge with ERP & CRM systems.
  • Being self-motivated and having the proven capacity to fully complete tasks
  • Ability to manage administration, control systems and financial resources.
  • Technical, professional and engineering qualifications.
  • Experience and knowledge of modern business methods and financial control.
  • Excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills
  • Excellent communication skills, very good in spoken and written English
  • Business experience in a Service / Sales function
  • Graduate engineer (electrical, mechanical or electro-mechanical) with a minimum of 5 years of experience preferably in similar capacity.
  • Ability to relate to local customers, their views and issues
  • Socially outgoing, ability to handle stress
