Job Description

For our Global Order Office Team at TOMRA Sorting Mining we are looking for a dynamic Internal Sales Representative (m/f/d) for our location in Wedel near Hamburg.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the sales team for TOMRA Sorting Mining world-wide in their daily sales work from the back-office platform.
  • Preparing quotations, tenders and large turn-key contracts processing, order processing/entry, information input and management in Mining according applicable procedures
  • Quotation Management for machine sales globally and test work for sales locally
  • Understanding and interpreting technical requirements
  • Providing technical, commercial and legal information
  • Order Management including contract review
  • Data handling in CRM systems
  • Understanding customers' needs and supporting closing sales.
  • Manage and build relationships with internal business partners
  • Liaising between Sales and other functional departments
  • Identify, and coordinate process improvements 
  • Foster and maintain excellent relations with Regional/Area Sales Managers and all internal Business partners 
  • Successful completion of quotations to the satisfaction of our internal processes and terms of TOMRA Mining policy
  • Process of continuous improvements within area of responsibility

All the above duties should be conducted based on guidance and priorities set by the Reporting Manager. These will be discussed and agreed on an on-going basis. Other tasks on request of Business Stream Director or Reporting Manager Global Order Office Mining.

Actual working tasks can be also done in Hybrid-Working of up to 2 days working from home.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications/experience:

  • Industry Merchant / Business Administration / Senior Clerk
  • Quotation management Qualifications/Experience
  • Knowledge of legal background / INCOTERMS
  • Be flexible, open minded, and show good team spirit in your daily job
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good communication skills both verbally as in writing
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and an ability to work independently and in team environment with capacity to complete tasks
  • Knowledge of Import and Export procedures would be an advantage
  • Ethical business behaviour in accordance to the TOMRA code of conduct
  • Fluent in English and German (verbal and in writing)
  • MS-Software MS EXCEL; MS WORD, MS POWERPOINT)
  • CRM knowledge is an advantage
  • Being self-motivated and having the proven capacity to fully complete tasks
  • High tolerance for working in fast paced and occasionally stressful conditions
  • You are decisive, customer focused, motivated, have strong administration skills and are open to working in a diverse multicultural environment. 

We would also ask you to support and develop the company’s Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulation Policy, in conjunction with the company’s health and safety consulting company and the Group’s health and safety officer.
