By managing the process of new product development, the Project Manager Product Development plays a significant role in keeping the TOMRA product portfolio on an attractive and competitive Level to secure TOMRA's role as a technology leading company.
In this role, you'll be supported by highly talented and motivated colleagues who pride themselves on transparency, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.
Job Description
- Drive & lead of new development projects as the Project Manager
- Plan, control, document and regularly status reporting
- Constant tracking of project KPI's (schedule, resources, specification)
- Constant risk assessment through all project phases
- Present Project Status in Gate Review Meetings
- Plan and lead NPI processes
Qualifications
- Degree in an engineering discipline or comparable qualification (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronic engineering)
- At least 3 years of experience in Project Management, Product Management, Product Development
- Experience in the manufacturing industry
- Experience in Project management tools and processes (e.g. Stage Gate Process)
- Additional qualification in Project Management, Continuous Improvement or Process Optimization is a plus
- Ability to lead an interdisciplinary project team
- Able to motivate this team even in even in challenging project phases
- Sensitive for early realization of project risks
- Proactive in defining solutions for critical project situations
- Fluent in English and German; other languages are an asset
