• Holistic execution of R&D projects from prototype to product launch in accordance to TOMRA’s stage gate project model;
• Coordination of the interdisciplinary team consisting of specialists from the areas of Software Engineering, Mechanical Design, Electrical Design, Documentation, Production, Service, Product Management, Customer Project Management and Supply Chain;
• Material and resource planning;
• Coordination of external suppliers;
• Active optimization of processes;
• Ensuring compliance with the applicable guidelines in mechanical engineering;
• Responsible for project controlling and report creation for management;
• Coordination of change requests for existing components (Change Management).

• Masters' degree in Science or Engineering fields;
• 3+ years of relevant industrial experience or post-graduate training;
• Knowledge in one or more of the following disciplines: automation, electronics, vision systems, optics or spectroscopy;
• Fluent in English, German is a plus;
• Experience in managing R&D projects;
• Experienced handling MS Office & MS Project;
• Passionate about continuous development;
• Very well organized;
• Team worker - at ease in high-performance, multidisciplinary teams;
• Open to travel to validate prototypes on site (domestic and international);
