Job Description

The Legal Counsel will be part of an international team supporting the increasing demand for legal support of a growing company. The Legal Counsel reports directly to the General Counsel.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support to all legal issues worldwide, but mainly in the area of Contract law (Sales and Purchase); Antitrust & Competition law;IP law; Product Liability & Corporate Law.
  •   Guide Managers and ensure compliance with the applicable laws and regulations.
  • Draft and implement new standard templates and administer the existing templates.
  • Provide inhouse legal trainings to the TOMRA employees.
  • Liaise and manage external legal advisers.
  • Cooperate with the Group Compliance Officer.
  • Cooperate with the IP Portfolio Manager.
  • Monitor legal developments and take appropriate actions.

Qualifications

About You:

  • Master in Law with 1st & 2nd state exams above average (at least 'satisfactory') or equivalent qualifications of other countries.
  • Fluent in spoken & written English, other language is a plus.
  • Excellent negation and communication skills.
  • Excellent know-how in laws and regulations.
  • Ability to combine excellent legal know-how with creative and pragmatic solutions to support the different business divisions.
  • Strong interest in technical matters.
  • Demonstrate passion and is a role model of TOMRA Culture and our core values.
  • Appreciates working in a very international environment.
