Position overview
As an Embedded Software Developer, your main tasks include design, development, optimization, maintenance and documentation of the Tomra Sorting Embedded Software.
You will work in close cooperation with the CORE R&D team in Wedel and Koblenz.

• Development of firmware which interfaces between FPGA and PC solutions;
• Ethernet communication between embedded platforms and PC’s;
• Maintaining, modernizing and refactoring of existing firmware components;
• Testing and evaluation of new system components.

• Requires a Master degree or equivalent work experience;
• Ideally excellent programming skills in C or C++;
• Knowledge in microcontroller programming;
• Understand technical datasheets and circuit diagrams;
• Knowledge of version control systems;
• Excellent technical problem-solving, troubleshooting, and follow-up skills;
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to break-down work;
• Able to recognize synergy effects;
• Good language skills in English.
