Job Description

About the role
At TOMRA Food we are committed to our brand and as we continue to invest globally, we are looking for a passionate and driven Quality Manager to be based at our Onehunga office or can be based in Hamilton . Your work will be purposeful, and you will play an important supporting and reporting into VP, Head of Operations. Here's a sneak peek into some of what you will be doing: 

  • Leading TOMRA’s quality function for TOMRA Food across Auckland, Hamilton and BOP sites
  • Liase with other TOMRA Food overseas to align process
  • Be future focus when designing quality program and set up strategic plan
  • Identify and establishing what good quality structure looks like for TOMRA Food
  • Take responsible for creating, developing and implementing customer quality measures and procedures
  • Identifying and implement digital process where applicable
  • Define the scope of quality and setting up good quality culture
  • Set KPI’s and quality measures to improve process

Qualifications

About you: 

  • Previous experience building or supported in building a master quality plan
  • Future focus and constantly looking for areas to improve
  • Able to influence and uphold others to systems and procedures
  • Comfortable influencing and sharing importance of best quality practice and able to bring others on the journey with you
  • Good understanding of Quality systems and procedures 
  • Previous experience implementing best practice quality systems within process/manufacturing engineering
  • Experience managing a team across multiple sites
