Job Description

About the role:
At TOMRA Food we are committed to our brand and as we continue to invest globally, we are looking for passionate and driven Group Warehouse Manager Multi-site to join our Auckland based team in Onehunga. Your work will be purposeful, and you will play an important role by managing our warehouse. You’ll ideally come from a manufacturing background with the understanding and ability to implement best practice warehousing systems and processes. Here's are some further sneak peek into some of what you will be doing:

  • Leading and coaching our Auckland and Hamilton Warehouse team
  • Supporting VP in developing leadership capability and implementing best systems and processed to achieve TOMRA’s strategic goals
  • Consolidating and aligning warehouses across New Zealand
  • Reviewing and refining our systems and processes
  • Continuing to focus on multi-site warehouse staff engagement and performance
  • Reviewing current process and finding areas for continuous improvement
  • Establishing and implementing best warehouse systems and process with KPI’s and SLAs in place
  • Building and supporting strategic plans
  • Assisting the business and VP with global integration

Qualifications

About you

  • You'll bring previous experience within warehousing environment ideally from manufacturing industry
  • Excellent communication skills and a pro-active attitude
  • Experience leading and managing a team 
  • Outstanding negotiation skills and a very high level of attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work extra hours when needed
  • Strong PC skills and the ability to learn our systems
  • A team player who gets things done
  • Good understanding of large warehouse environment
  • Previous experience implementing warehouse systems
