Job Description

Primary Job Functions:

  • Organize and coordinate customers visits and product presentations/ demonstrations to help customers discover and understand available service products.
  • Maximize customer satisfaction provide valuable customer solutions and win/win scenarios for both customers and TOMRA .
  • Proactively engage with customers to assess their business needs and provide them with value-added solutions.
  • Track and manage major customer escalations and develop and execute timely resolution plans.  
  • Ensure continuous communication with the Commercial Service Manager, Area Field Supervisors, and Area Sales Managers regarding sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Promote and execute sales activities in support of achieving strategic departmental goals.
  • Generate and pursue prospective service sales opportunities across Southwest territory and aggressively work to covert opportunities into orders.
  • Develop sales and marketing tools (in cooperation with the central Marketing team) to promote a proactive sales approach for Service products.
  • Continuously develop and refine market understanding to help enable decision making that promotes revenue growth and continually ensures competitive market advantage.
  • Ensure strong coordination and continuous improvement of administrative processes and task planning with the Customer Service team to secure full customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar business area & scope.
  • Strong understanding of business development and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Solid technical knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Passionate problem solver that seeks out win/win solutions.
  • Experience in product processing plants/facilities (Food & Beverage processing industry experience is desired).
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with customer stakeholders from line supervisor to upper management level.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communication with customers, internal and external partners, and management.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (other languages, such as Spanish, are considered a plus).
  • Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to customers, solicit customer feedback, and provide valuable input for future service product development to internal partners.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Business or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred).

Supervision

  • This is not a supervisory role

Travel:

  • Ability to travel 50% of time within the western region of the US and occasional international travel (initially more for training and integration plan purposes).

  • Ability to drive without restrictions
