Job Description

Great roles like this do not come along very often! We are excited to come to market in search of a technically savvy Sales Manager to join our dynamic, focused, fast paced Global Sales team. This position will deliver the target forecasted sales results through the management of sales and customer relationships in the ANZ market for our category of Blueberries. The role is responsible for achieving ongoing sales, developing effective sales programs and initiatives, and being the focal point for customer feedback and demonstration of strong technical knowledge.  

 In this role you will:

  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline to drive growth in revenue and market share.
  • Visit customer sites to observe equipment performance and discuss technologies.
  • Assist with leading, planning and preparation for trade shows and company-events.
  • Relay market information to inform research and development strategies.
  • Submit activity reviews and movement plan on time and in quality. 

Qualifications

About you

Our ideal candidate will have a background in a commercial or technical orientated role with experience in the agriculture and fruit business. Along with a proactive and innovative approach to the sales function, we are seeking candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in business to business sales, with large capital industrial equipment experience being a plus
  • Understanding of the fresh food industry is a significant plus
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing large sales areas and key accounts
  • Proven planning and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally 50% of the year
  • Proficient in Microsoft office.
