Job Description

Your role as an Electronics Project Engineer will include:

You will be liaising with professionals throughout TOMRA from Sales Engineering, R&D, Assembly and Purchasing.

  • Design, build and maintain electrical fixtures used to support the requirements of production and materials handling. 
  • Work alongside Development, Production, Planning and Stores teams to ensure Bills-Of-Materials (BOMs) and routings are accurate and structured to suit the needs of production 
  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiencies of current build processes and reduce cost. 
  • Work with Development and Production teams to support the introduction of new products and product revisions 
  • Prepare and maintain all electrical work instructions and FAT- Factory Acceptance Tests in a consistent, structured, and standard format.  
  • Troubleshoot electrical and electronic assembly and test issues including investigation of non-conformances and data analysis from which informed decisions can be made. 

Qualifications

Experience and skills you can bring to TOMRA Food:

With some previous hands-on exposure with industrial electronics you’ll know what the production team needs from you, be confident with a soldering gun and understand electronic drawings.  You’ll describe yourself to be methodical, have strong attention to detail and be motivated by regular project completion.

Essential skills are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
  • Good planning and time management skills
  • Understanding of electronic/electrical design principles
  • Understanding of electronic/electrical wiring techniques
  • Some knowledge of an ERP system
  • Sound MS Office skills (especially Excel)
