Job Description

Through a recent combination of 2 finance teams within TOMRA Fresh Food, we have a unique and exciting opportunity for you to join our finance organisation in Auckland or Hamilton led by our award winning CFO. The new business model is set and ready for hyper growth and future success. In this role you will play an instrumental part in delivering the future. Here's a sneak peak into some of what you will be doing:

  • Drive the Statutory/External reporting and External Audit process
  • Oversee TFF’s tax compliance and accounting for income taxes
  • Balance sheet management and reconciliations
  • Management of Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
  • Manage (and grow) a small team and proactively engage them through clear expectations, including objectives, regular reviews and feedback

Qualifications

You will be someone that genuinely sees a challenge as an opportunity and thrives on fixing/building stuff and making it a better world for you and your team. Along with this you will have:

  • Proven 8-10 years’ experience in a relevant accounting, finance, or commercial role
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting or Business
  • An experienced and passionate people leader
  • Familar with Tier 1 or 2 ERP systems
  • Strong technical accounting (IFRS) and tax knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
