This person will be operating in the Business Area TOMRA Fresh within TOMRA Food. 

Job Description

Due to continued growth we are excited to come to market in search of a Project Engineer to join our dynamic and fast paced ANZ team. Reporting into the Engineering Operations Team, the purpose of this role is to work in partnership with the Solution Engineering and Project Management teams to produce optimal performance fruit and packaging handling solutions for TOMRA Fresh Food.

Please note that the location of this role is flexible within the state of Queensland. 

As a Project Engineer, you will be as passionate about customers as you are about products. You will be responsible for:

  • Technical design - produce detailed layout designs and accurately record data relating to projects that aligns with the specification documents
  • Project documentation - coordinate a master project layout and produce weekly reporting in order to ensure a smooth handover of projects
  • Relationship and stakeholder management - manage communication between internal teams 
  • Customer relationships - engage and liaise with customers in relation to cost structuring, assembly and installation  

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need to have great organization, time management and communication skills. As well as:

  • Being detail focused 
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and be resourceful in order to overcome challenges 
  • Engineering qualification or engineering industry experience  
  • Have recent relevant experience in a related role (1-5 years)
  • Agriculture and material handling industry experience would be advantageous
