This person will be operating in the Business Area TOMRA Fresh within TOMRA Food.

Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and passionate Project Manager to join our Service team. This position will manage the delivery of Tomra Fresh solutions to our customers, ensuring they are on time, to budget and to spec. The role is responsible for managing projects from pre-sale, through to handover to the after sales team.

In this role you will

  • Project Management: Implement and administer the standard process for in region project management
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
  • Define process for project; scoping, planning, reviews, risk analysis, budgeting and reporting
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths, particularly dependencies across multiple projects regionally
  • Review regional project plans, designs, contracts etc. and assist in minimizing risks
  • Ensure global team identify constraints and solutions e.g. through renegotiating requirements, forecasting, purchasing, rescheduling, proactively developing contingencies
  • Set and manage customer and account team expectations in projects
  • Ensure process is being followed in the regions. Audit active projects against best practices (including on site audit as appropriate)
  • Provide a point of escalation for regional project managers and account teams with issues requiring assistance
  • Project Planning: Assist and participate in scheduling 
  • Project Reporting: Provide central reporting on the status of all global projects and escalate issues 

Qualifications

About you

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Engineering or a qualification in Project Management or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in delivering high value engineering solutions
  • Ability to bring multiple projects to successful completion, adapt to shifting priorities and timelines using analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 
  • Excellent communication skills: written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly with Microsoft Project
  • Ability to travel domestically 25-30%
