This person will be operating in the Business Area TOMRA Fresh within TOMRA Food. 

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Software Tester to join our innovative Development team, based out of our Onehunga office. In this role you will be developing cutting-edge software solutions to maximise performance of our fresh food processing machines.

  In this role you will:

• Complete comprehensive testing of software products, including quality and performance
• Monitor and report on system performance
• Develop automated test systems and manual test procedures for all aspects of the product
• Connect hardware components and physically setting up tests on our sorting machines
• Maintain a test case management system

About you

• A tertiary qualification with a relevant endorsement e.g. Engineering
• Understanding of software testing in an agile environment
• Strong mathematical skills and understanding of software algorithms
• Graduate or a first experience in software testing
• Interest in hardware / computers
• Attention to detail
• Self-management and time management
• Excellent communication skills
