Job Description

Up to 19,000 plus bonus and benefits

To provide a high level of administrative and telephony support to the Residential Underwriting & Processing department.  To accurately assess applications against current criteria within the stated SLAs to support an efficient customer and broker journey. To be able to communicate with third parties both internal and external throughout the application process.

 

To complete an initial assessment of each document within the submission pack to ensure it meets the business’s requirement and to check the accreditation of the submitting broker by completing the relevant checks

To complete the required data entry on each application ensuring accuracy whilst meeting agreed key performance indicators

To carry out agreed additional checks on new applications raising concerns / queries to the assigned underwriter and notating the relevant systems.

To manage the mortgage operations work queues / inboxes and ensure they are up to date within set SLA’s.

Provide clear and accurate updates in all formats to all parties (internal and external) throughout the application process in a professional and confident manner and ensure you present a professional image of the company at all times.

To be able to liaise effectively with other teams and areas of the business e.g. Securities, Finance, and Facilities.

Identify fraud on applications and escalate to the relevant underwriter to review, ensuring you are adhering to the relevant policies and procedures.

To manage and proactively review pipeline of 3rd party requests and post offer chasing to ensure they are chased within specified SLA’s to enable efficient processing of applications.

To complete additional tasks including security checks and processing completions where required to support the underwriting teams

To provide support to the business support function, completing assigned tasks within agreed timescales

 

Essential skills and experience:

·         PC Skills in excel and word

·         Strong communication skills

·         Attention to Detail

·         Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines

·         Mortgage Processing / Administration experience
