Company Description

About Toast Ale

Toast is on a mission to prove that the alternative to food waste is pint-sized and delicious. Brewing award-winning beer with fresh surplus bread that would otherwise be wasted and donating all profits to our partner charity Feedback to end food waste. We think Toast is the best thing since, well, you know…

We are built on four core founding principles:

  • Brew great beer that consumers will enjoy

  • Use fresh surplus bread to directly tackle bread waste

  • Raise awareness of food waste through positive, engaging campaigns

  • Donate all distributable profits to the charity Feedback to end systemic food waste

We are a fast-growing, global social enterprise, with ambitious plans to scale. As a profitable business, we can use more surplus bread and give more to charity. Our NYC operations have drawn major media coverage as well as partnerships with Whole Foods, Shake Shack, jetBlue, and some far-reaching support from celebrity chefs.

If you’re passionate about craft beer, this is a truly unique opportunity to work for a social enterprise that’s helping to save the world from food waste one beer at a time. We hope you join us for the ride!
