Company Description

Toast Ale is new kind of craft beer company on a mission to prove that the alternative to food waste is pint-sized and delicious. Brewing award-winning beer with fresh surplus bread that would otherwise be wasted and donating all profits to our partner charity Feedback to end food waste, we think Toast is the best thing since, well, you know…

We are built on four core founding principles:

  • Brew great craft beer that consumers will enjoy

  • Use fresh surplus bread to directly tackle bread waste

  • Raise awareness of food waste through positive, engaging campaigns

  • Donate all distributable profits to the charity Feedback and select local charities to end systemic food waste.

Since launching three years ago in the UK, we’ve received global media attention and have won numerous industry awards.

We started a subsidiary in NYC almost two years ago that drew major media coverage as well as partnerships with Whole Foods, Fairway, Shake Shack, JetBlue, and some far-reaching support from celebrity chefs. We currently distribute in NYC, CT and MA.
