TileTown is a locally owned and operated tile retailer that has been serving homeowners, contractors, designers and renovators for over 55 years. We pride ourselves on offering a great selection of tile, knowledgeable advice and friendly, down-to-earth customer service. Our goal is to make choosing tile easy and enjoyable while helping our customers find the right products for their projects.

TileTown is looking for a friendly, outgoing and customer-focused Part-Time Sales Associate to join our Langley team.

No tile experience is necessary — we will provide training!

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a natural sales mindset and takes pride in providing great customer service. You’ll be helping homeowners, contractors and designers find the right products for their projects while being part of a supportive and experienced team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Greeting customers and helping them find the right products for their projects

• Asking questions to understand customers' needs and helping guide their selections

• Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service

• Preparing quotes and processing sales

• Following up with customers on quotes and projects

• Helping maintain an organized and welcoming showroom

• Working with the team to achieve store sales goals

• Learning about our tile products and becoming confident in helping customers with their selections

• Friendly, outgoing and comfortable starting conversations with customers

• A genuine interest in sales and helping people

• Reliable and dependable

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Willingness to learn — tile experience is not required

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• Previous retail, customer service or sales experience is an asset

This is a regular part-time position working three days per week:

Monday: between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
Friday: between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
Saturday: 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Applicants must be available to work these days on a consistent basis, but also be flexible.

Compensation

$20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
