5 TON TRUCK DRIVER - DELIVERY

Job Description

The primary role of the job would be focused around the delivery of products over established routes. Responsibilities include the correct loading and unloading of the vehicle, recording of delivery information, and ensuring overall vehicle safety. The Driver will be expected to operate the delivery vehicle in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules of the road and follow all appropriate company policies and procedures.

  • Ability to drive a 5 ton truck
  • You have the ability to excel in a physically demanding environment, lifting 60 lbs.
  • Forklift & pallet jack experience preferred.
  • Contribute to a safe and environmentally responsible workplace by following all safety and environmental policies and rules and by taking an active approach to accident prevention and environmental protection.
  • Load, unload delivery truck in a timely manner to our locations.
  • Complete packing slips, waybills, trip sheets and bills of lading
  • Maintain a clean organized delivery truck
  • Be able to organize and load a skid for delivery
  • Warehouse work, building skids for shipping

Compensation for this position will be based on skills, abilities and relevant knowledge or experience.

Store operating hours 

  •   Monday - Friday – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm 

In almost all cases, working hours will fall within our distribution operating hours.  This role is based on a forty (40) hour work week.
