We are seeking a Service Manager to join our Operation Center in Oslo, who thrives in dynamic environments, demonstrates interest in daily operations, excels in communication, appreciates working within an international setting, and aspires to join our exceptional team at the Operation Center in Tieto Banktech.
In this role, you will be a part of the operational team, have good insight into the daily operation and serve as the central point for Operational reporting. You will collaborate closely with Business Units across Tieto Banktech.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day operation follow up
- Produce and deliver timely, accurate, and professional operational reports to internal & external stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Modernize & automate reporting
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
- Strong IT competence, including experience with IT service management processes (Incident & Problem Management)
- Proven experience in operational reporting
- Experience in the banking industry is an advantage, but not required
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple reports simultaneously.
- Technical background and general understanding of the Banking Industry is a plus
- Ability to produce structured, executive-ready reports that translate complex technical or operational findings into clear, business-understandable language, with high attention to accuracy, traceability, and consistency.
- Actively challenge assumptions and inconsistencies in data and stakeholder statements; identifies discrepancies between reported data and actual performance using multiple data sources to validate conclusions.
- Demonstrate precise, probing, and persistent questioning to uncover the full story, ensuring conclusions are fact-based and thoroughly validated.
